We had great fun reading our Big Book this week called 'When Barney Went to the Vet'. There were many opportunities for us to look at rhyming words, visual language and making predictions!
Thank you to all the parents that took the time to come in last week to discuss your child's progress at school. I really enjoyed the opportunity to share their work and stories with you.

During maths we are continuing with our number knowledge of teen numbers.
Our key competency this term is 'Thinking'. For us we are concentrating on thinking of ways to ensure that all our friends feel happy and safe at school. This also includes giving children the skills and knowledge to know what to do if a situation arises where they feel sad, upset or threatened.
We have had a number of children away from school over the last couple of weeks with colds, the flu and viruses. Please don't panic about this. It is much better for us all if your child recovers fully before returning to school.
