Sarah came back again last week to talk to us about how we can cut down on some of the packaging in our lunchboxes to reduce our waste and therefore our impact on the environment.

This term we have been exploring Maori Myths and Legends in preparation for Matariki (the Maori New Year). We have also been rehersing our item for the whole school Matariki celebrations. We will be performing the 'Matariki Macarena'!
Next week we plan to go to the museum for a visit to support our learning.
Our Cross Country training is going well and we are now up to completing two laps of the front field.
More details about the actual event will follow closer to the time.

During maths we are covering simple addition & subtraction.
On Wednesday we have trip to the Museum for Maori Myths and Legends. We will be leaving school at 9.15am and returning by 10.30am. If you are able to walk with us and help at the Museum please let me know.
