Week 2, Term 2

This week we went across the road to NMIT to view an art exhibition. One of the pieces of work had a pile of autumn leaves beneath it. We were inspired to run and play in the leaves when we got back to school. They made a wonderful crunchy sound...a bit like eating potato chips!

During our literacy time this week we have been working hard on our pen and pencil grip. Holding the pencil correctly is really important to develop the right muscles in our hands. This strength will enable us to write more and for longer.

Thirsty Thursday!
On Thursday this week we were fine athletes! First we had hockey skills with Scotty and then we went straight to see Janey Paney for basketball. Both Jane and Scotty were impressed with our skills and non quitting attitude.
